COLLEEN - live stream/parent

My husband and two teenagers are at YC while I am at home. I'm so thankful that my children have the opportunity to be at YC for the second year in a row. I'm also thankful for the hope of Jesus that you share with the thousands of hurting teenagers. Thanks so much for all you do!

'A MOM' - Thank you

Thank you for YC. Thank you for being a channel for God to change my son! Thank you for blessing us that couldn't go, with that live stream. I am being so ministered to at home because of it.

MACKENZIE - God will love me no matter what

Hello. My name is Mackenzie and I am 16 from British Columbia. If you look at my left wrist you will see over 40 scars and 5 new cuts. That's over 45 times I've turned after from the love and hope of Jesus. One night I just could not take it anymore. I couldn't get to sleep. I was crying too much and was way to upset. After cutting myself I went to the kitchen and found the knife I knew I would use if I was ever going to kill myself. In my hand I held that knife. I inspected found all its faults and perfections. I contemplated my suicide. From that point there were more pros than cons. After my death note was written I found the knife again. I held it to my throat. Shaking and crying I dropped the knife. There was something inside me that said no. Something that gave me the power to stop. I've never had that feeling inside me until I went to YC this year and opened my heart to let Jesus in to love me and help me. I've learned even though I may seem broken to everyone God still has a purpose for me and will love me no matter what. Thank you for having YC and saving so many lives.
