:: Youth Leaders' Prayer Guide
Welcome! Please join us in prayer as we get ready to see what God is going to do at the YC events of 2012!
Please pray for:
- The Extreme Dream Ministries staff as they are preparing for all the YCs. Pray for health, wisdom and direction.
- Youth Leaders across our nation. Even as you make plans to take your own group to YC, pray for others as they prepare to take groups of youth to YC events; that all the details will come together and that God would prepare their hearts and minds to hear what He has to say at YC. Pray for fresh vision and wisdom as they lead and guide the youth in their communities and for grace to minister to those youth whose lives they touch. Pray for unity amongst youth leaders, that, despite different backgrounds or denominations, they would work together for the sake of the purposes of God.
- The YC speakers and musical guests. Pray for their preparation, wisdom and guidance. Pray for safe travel to the event and for protection on their families while they are away.
- The YC rallies that will be taking place. Pray that God would speak to every student who will attend and that they will be encouraged to invite friends to YC!
- The students who will be attending all of the YCs. Across Canada and into the nations of Slovakia and Belize, thousands of youth will be gathering for these events. Pray that the students would come to know Christ for the first time or would grow stronger in their relationship with Him.
- Event registration kick-off days: YCMB on February 23, YCAB on March 1, and YCNL on May 1. Pray that all the leaders, parents, and students registering wouldn’t have any complications and that the registration system would work smoothly. Pray for the Extreme Dream Ministries staff as they facilitate and process the registrations.
- YC Volunteers. Hundreds of volunteers are needed to make the YC events successful. Pray that hearts would be stirred towards volunteerism. Pray that all those who will be volunteering at our events will come with servant hearts and that they will have the energy and strength needed to get through a demanding weekend.
- The Production Team that everything would go smoothly in the planning and preparation of the events. Pray that their plans would be well executed and that the entire team would have physical protection during set up, tear down, and during the duration of the events.
- Mike Love, the Executive Director of Extreme Dream Ministries. Pray for divine wisdom as he leads the planning of the YC events. Pray that God would bless him and continue to give him dreams and a passion for the next generation. Pray for physical health and strength and protection over him and his family.
- New Believers who come to know Jesus through YC events. Pray that God would put people in their lives to support them and encourage them in their faith. Pray that they would not fall back into their old ways, but they would experience life transformation through the power of Jesus.
- For the preparations of YC events. For everything from vehicle rentals, to travel, to accommodations for our guests and delegates; pray that it would all go smoothly and as planned.
- For Global Youth Missions, a division of Extreme Dream Ministries. Pray for all the teams of youth and young adults who will be ministering through Short Term Missions outreaches in different parts of Canada and throughout the world this summer. Pray that God would move in the hearts of individuals to be part of those teams. Pray for the planning and preparation of the teams and that they would be safe on their trips. Pray that their ministry makes a difference in the communities they serve.
- That the Word of God would be what stands out in the lives of every person in attendance at the YC events. That the volunteers and delegates would walk away with refreshed hearts, a new revelation of God’s love for them, and an excitement to make a difference in the world around them.
