:: YC Student Prayer Guide
Thanks for praying with us! These are some suggestions of how you might pray. We know God will give you personal prayers as well.
- The theme this year for YC is Surrender. God is calling us to surrender our lives to Him! He is our loving, perfect, powerful God! Ask Him to show you who He is and watch Him change your life!
- Ask God to help you overcome whatever difficult situation you may be facing; family issues, friendships, bitterness, anger or hurt. Lay it before God. He is our overcomer and through Him all things are possible.
- God wants to speak with us and loves when we come to Him in prayer with thanks and praise! God wants to hear from you!
- The Word of God is life. Ask God to help you understand His Word. Ask Him to speak to you through His word. How does it apply to your life today? Take some time to wait for His response!
- Pray for your school. Pray for protection, for God’s love and presence to be in the hallways and classrooms of your school.
- Ask God to open doors for you to speak to your peers and professors about Christ. Pray that they would see Jesus in you.
- Pray for your youth pastor. Pray that God would give him or her words to share with your group. Pray for strength, health, rest and protection over them and their families.
- If you or somebody you know needs healing in their bodies, bring those needs before God. Go to battle for your/their healing!
- Pray for your family. We all have different family situations. Pray for restoration, unity, and spiritual growth as a family!
- Start asking God to prepare your heart for what He wants to do in you and what He wants to share with you!
- Pray for your city. Pray that God would move and impact your city through your youth ministries!
- Pray for your friends and family who don’t know Jesus. Pray that they would see God’s personal love for them!
- Pray for all those that will be attending YC. Pray that they would have a life changing encounter with God!
- Pray for the guest speakers coming to YC. Pray that God would give them a clear message for YC. Pray for wisdom, health, and rest.
- Pray for those that you know are hurting. Pray that God would be with them, and that they would see that they are loved and beautiful!
- Pray for all the different denominations in your area. Ask God to open doors, so the body of Christ can work together to help impact your city for Him!
- Pray for all the children that have been sponsored over the years through Compassion at YC. Pray that they would come to know the love of God through Jesus!
- Pray for Extreme Dream Ministries. Pray for the team as they prepare for all of the YCs. Pray for health and wisdom!
- Pray for all the new believers that will find Christ for the first time at YC. Pray that they would see that Jesus is for them and that he wants to be with them in every way.
- Ask God to open doors for you in your youth ministry. Allow Him to use the call he has placed on your life.
- Pray for all of the YC Volunteers. Pray that they would be well rested and ready to serve at the event.
- Pray for all the artists that will be coming. Pray for safe travels and uneventful border crossings.
- Pray that the Word of God would be what stands out in the life of every person in attendance. Pray that they will walk away with full, refreshed hearts.
- Ask God to help you with certain temptations you may be struggling with. Give them to God and he will show you the way!
- Give God the fear in your life. His perfect love casts out fear.
- Pray for Global Youth Missions. Pray for all the teams that are going into different parts of the world this summer. Pray for safety and an incredible time for and everyone they come in contact with!
- Pray for students struggling with self image. Ask God to show them who they are ‘in’ Him. Pray that they will see themselves like God sees them.
- Pray for the venue volunteer staff. Pray that they will be blessed by any portion of the music or message they hear.
- Pray for students who are struggling with addiction. Pray that the messages they hear at YC would lead them to freedom in Jesus!
